As a military spouse and parent of three, there have been many sacrifices made as a family. I have been with my spouse for 16 years out of their 17-year career in the military. With that came lots of late nights, training, schools and multiple deployments, some lasting as little as two weeks or as long as a year and a half. Because of that, I was more driven to be independently successful so that we could be that power couple ready to take on the world and support our children in hopes to give them a better life. Because of that, there were times where I had two jobs and went back to school. I branched out and entered different industries than I would have normally pursued, that including the Hotel and Casino Industry along with Finance and Tax Law.  I was able to gain even more skills through these times when separated from my spouse due to military orders.
